The Air Conditioning Systems and Services business of Ingersoll Rand provides heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems that enhance the quality and comfort of the air in homes and buildings around the world. Its offerings, under the Trane and American Standard Heating & Air Conditioning brands, include energy efficient systems, service and parts support and advanced building controls.

Responsible for directing service projects or a multitude of service projects of ongoing service agreements and emergency service work within an assigned territory or market. The Area Service Manager manages all aspects of the projects, from beginning to end, with direct responsibility for project execution while leading a team, or teams, to accomplish specific objectives in a given time frame and with available resources.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly supervises HVAC Field Technicians in the Service process. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints, coaching and mentoring employees; and resolving problems.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; four (4) to ten (10) years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Working knowledge of office equipment and Microsoft Office products. Familiarity with the operation of Energy Management Systems, HVAC Systems and/or Temperature Controls preferred.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid Driver's License, Acceptable Driving History, EPA Certification
